Tico Abeyta

Albertico "Tico" Reymundo Abeyta, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021. He was 26. Tico was born on April 30, 1995, in Phoenix, Arizona. He leaves behind 3 children; his 2 sons, Albertico Joaquin Provencio Abeyta, and Azariah Espinoza as well as a daughter. He also leaves to mourn: his mother and step-father, Heather and Julian Melendez; his 4 sisters, Charlene, Alexandra, Claudia (David), and Dani; and 2 brothers, Zachary and Julian.

Tico was a fun, outgoing person. He never failed to make everyone laugh and forget their troubles. One would say his laugh was contagious. He loved music and watching movies.

Tico enjoyed spending time with AJ, and friends. He loved relaxing and having a good time with his best friend, Mary Jane. Although Tico had his problems, he never let those who loved him know. He worked hard for what he wanted. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him, but will never be forgotten. We will share and cherish all those memories we have with your children. You will stay alive for us in our hearts forever.

Our promise to you is to never leave or let any of your children feel alone. We pray you have finally found your peace. We love you greatly. En paz descanses. RIP.

Graveside Memorial Services for Tico will be conducted Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., in the Duncan Cemetery.

Not a day goes by where I dont think of you Tico. Just about everything reminds me of you. Everytime we go to Barros to get wings, I remember you begging Charlie and I to bring you back wings. When I see a window, I remember the time you and I broke the back window and tried taping it back up with Scotch tape lol. I see bubblegum, and I rememeber the time you ate like 3 rolls of bubblegum just to see if you could lol. I remember the summers you spent with us in Phoenix and how we'd play eraser wars, built forts, play Playstation and Pokemon. One memory that replays in my head is Christmas day of 2020, when I was driving us home and you seen a homeless man who was struggling to walk and you asked me "doesn't it bother you?" And you gave him your last dollars.. you had a big heart. If there was a serious conversation going on it wasn't for long before you'd crack a joke and make us all laugh. I can still hear you laughing sometimes.. I pray you're with Grandma and finally at peace. Te extrano mucho Hermano.
